Os Sheffield casino Diaries

I have been coming to the Birmingham Grosvenor Casino since it opened which is now well over 10 years. The staff have always been fantastic and last night my wife and I went for a meal in the restaurant as a last minute idea due our normal Michelin stared restaurants being booked due to being a last minute arrangement. All we can say is thank you. The food was out of this world and even with desert and drinks we spent 1/3rd of what we would have and enjoyed the food just as much, if not better!

Suite we stayed in very clean and comfortable, well equipped and quiet (on the 6th Floor). Good breakfast if a bit shambolic, buffet style so everyone trying to help themselves at the same time, but staff very quick if anything was required.

Stayed here with colleagues whilst on business. Nice hotel especially walking into the hotel lobby. Lovely feel and atmosphere. The room was spacious and a view of the canal.

Miserable place. I challenge you to find the staff smiling and the floor manager is even worse. The culture must be really bad. Any attempt at having a joke with the staff is cut down straight away and treated as if customers are being rude.

Well went to view a movie, tickets purchased in advance. Feel a bit claustrophobic entering into the cinema area. Screen was dirty top right but still could view movie ok. Overall good experience

Overall, Glasgow’s casinos offer a range of facilities and amenities to suit all tastes and budgets. Whether you’re looking for fine dining or casual eats, or want to try your luck at the poker table or slot machines, Glasgow’s casinos have something for everyone.

Even though we travelled a short distance to the Arena it's very easy to navigate your way around...

I advise finding parking elsewhere too as we are currently sat in the car waiting for other drivers to come back so we can get out. Only positive really was the cleanliness of the room, pretty standard and would not rate this hotel a four star at all. Don’t waste your money especially if you are wanting to use the facilities.

Broomielaw is another area located along the River Clyde and is home to a few casinos. Some locations may have stairs or other barriers, so it’s recommended to check ahead for accessibility options.

The manager is very nice and friendly. And there staff are very mannered. I love it there nice and cosy casino ???? clean and well presentable place. I've worked there as a security.

First impressions, it wasn't obvious to see when walking towards it and following Google maps, but hey, it wasn't far to walk from New Street. Good location and a nice looking hotel once inside. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room itself was very nice and comfortable, with a large bathroom plus a kitchenette.

Only stayed one night for a works do but defo would love to come back and visit again first time ever staying in a hotel the experience was amazing love everything with the hotel thank you to all the staff.

Walked round the outside of the West,Raglan & Family Stands to access the north side of the ground where my seat was,in the Stanley Barnes Stand. As it was such a hot early evening i was glad for the water dispersers and though the concourses are mostly open (except the South Stand) there was plenty of space for food & drink huts around the boundary walls which still left a good amount of room for people to move around and get to their seated areas. With a majority of the ground bieng open seating a fully unobstructed view of the pitch was on offer however i would point out the Upper Tier of the Eric Hollies Stand does contain a number of slim supporting roof angles and a row of more substantial columns near the rear which will likely cause a big obstruction of the field of play. Having said that, the modern 3D online ticket purchase system should also show up these columns so you know in advance what view you will have. Photos enclosed from my visit.
